Newham Parent Carer Forum (NPCF), in collaboration with The 5es and funded by the Newham Carers Community, hosted a special SEND Family Fun Day at St Mark’s Community Centre. The event was open to children and young people (ages 0 to 25) with SEND and their families.

It was a joyful and well-attended day, with around 100 families joining us to enjoy food, refreshments, and a variety of activities—including raffles, a bouncy castle, and relaxing massages for parents and carers. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire for more events like this in the future.

The day served not only as part of the Easter holiday celebrations, but also as a heartfelt recognition of the dedication and hard work of parents and carers. At NPCF, we are committed to building a safe, inclusive space and strong community for our families. This event was a wonderful step forward in that mission.
